My name is Tim, I go by Tay, and respond to either. My Xbox Live gamertag is arc5ange1, and this site was originally built as a way to interact with friends and fans.
I recently retooled my website to showcase my designs, graphics and art projects as a graphic designer. Read more about me here. Enjoy.
Wynema: A Child of the Forest
book wrap cover design & inside typsetting
Chemeketa Free Press presented a project in my Page Layout class. The task was read a copy of the book and design a complete cover (this full-cover wraps around the entire book including the inside folds).
The Fifty/Fifty Project
photography, cover design & typsetting
The Fifty/Fifty Project is a compilation of stories written by the community at Chemeketa. The parameters: fifty words of Chemeketa Community College in fifty years. Accustomed to spelling the word fifty out, I can no longer type the number.

magazine editorial & publication
My team of 4 designed, typeset, and created 5 spreads (20 total pages) and saddle-stitched this bad boy to completion. A worthy side note: our magazine was selected and chosen to be used.
100 variations on anything. Artist’s choice
I know the that only documents and graphics created in anything Adobe should be listed on portfolio sites like this, but I’m going against the grain. This was probably my favorite project, and is rooted in analog creativity and mediums on paper over digital perfection. There’s beauty in both.
Wolfgang Weingart Art Replica
a hand-rendered mock-up of an influential artist
Wolfgang Weingart was the artist and typography selected to do a presentation on and imitate his art style.
Kinetic Text ft. Roboto
Meet the default fonT FOR Androids everywhere
Love it or hate it, Roboto is here to stay. That’s why I selected this font to do a kinetic text presentation on. This was a fabulous project and I learned (and taught) some good content. I’m kind of bummed though that Comic Sans wasn’t available though. Normally I don’t say “joking” but my last statement definitely calls for it: so I was joking. Learn more about Roboto on Google Fonts.
Tak Havoc & DJ Allegiance
my friend asked if I could make an album cover for his new album
I know the that only documents and graphics created in the Adobe Creative Suite should be listed on portfolio sites like this, but I’m going against the grain. This was probably my favorite project, and is rooted in analog creativity and mediums on paper over digital perfection. There’s beauty in both.
